Rice Crackers, Music Fairies, and 6000+ Views!!

We have reached over 6,000 views within a time frame of 13 months, and we have you (the fans) to thank! We’ve got a great Miscellany Monday for you to enjoy with good snacks from Japan, and lesser known anime titles that need a lil’ lovin’ from D&A. Sink your teeth in a delectable treat known as Senbei (which goes great with some green tea), or delight yourself to an anime title where a girl is given a magical violin that helps her win a music competition. Either way, your Monday nights will never be boring with us around, cuz’ with D&A, your Mondays will always be miscellaneous! 😉

Ghost Stories of the Edo Period! The Return of Slash Saturday!!

After what was a two week hiatus on this weekend segment of the blog/site, we have returned with some more samurai anime titles as well as our inductees for our male and female samurai Hall of Famers. Dive into the ghastly mystery of the spooky stories surrounding Japan’s samurai era in Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Stories, or check out our past and current inductees in our male and female division of our Hall of Fame.

When it comes to giving reviews on what shows to check out we’re on our P’s and our Q’s, though to this very day even we don’t exactly know what that means. February’s less than a couple days away, so get ready for some old and new anime conventions that will be comin’ your way through our Cons Near U page. If you haven’t gotten the chance to check out our fan fiction page yet you’ll notice that we now have two upcoming fanfics on the way; Hyakka Ryoran: Samurai S, and Danganronpa: Total Chaos & Utter Despair. 2017 is just getting started with us as the first month draws towards a close, but one thing’s for sure, D&A will continue to strive towards being the best anime blog/site on the web! 🙂

Tomorrow night brings us another great Saturday, as Toonami brings us Dragon Ball Super, and everything else that comes with it! We’re hoping to have our Toonami Fan page drop down up and running before the end of February, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated on any changes that might occur sooner than that. Oh, and don’t miss our Slash Saturday too! (We know we forgot last week so we’ll make it up to you guys tomorrow night, okay?) We’ll see you all tomorrow, and remember: D&A is a part of you! 🙂

The 90’s are back on this windy Thursday night, and we’ve brought two classic anime titles for you to check out for your own enjoyment! Magic and Sponge Cakes! Miscellany Monday’s Got You Covered!

It’s been quite a soggy day in our neck of the woods, but that’s not gonna stop us from giving you our best on what everyone else considers to be, well…a Manic Monday. Tonight we’ve got lesser-known gems of the anime type, plus delicious food that will have your taste buds singing and shouting. (Your palette will thank you.)

Discover what the future of magic will be like as Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba in The Irregular at Magic High School, or sink your teeth into a spongy treat known as Castella; the sponge cake from Japan – by way of Portugal. Your Mondays are never dreary or boring with us around, and we plan on keeping the excitement going for a long, long time! 😉

D&A Fridays…On Ice!!

Not literally though, but you know what we mean. After a wild and crazy Animore last weekend, we’re back on the blog giving you the best anime and manga titles to check out for your own enjoyment! Whisk yourself into the icy spotlight with Yuri On Ice, or enjoy a cute manga novel about angels and demons in Pita-Ten. We’re not ones to slack off when it comes to giving you what you (as the fans) wanna see, so if you have any suggestions on what our next Anime of the Week review should be on, hit us up on our Contact Us page!

Saturday night the blades come out as we return from our weekend slumber, with some samurai anime titles and some Hall of Fame inductees! Also, we’ll be posting some new anime cons for the month of February as well as keep you up to date on the latest developments regarding our Toonami dedication page. You guys have been awesome to us so far on our one year anniversary and we hope that you’ll stay with us for years to come. 🙂

Happy National DJ Appreciation Day!!!

We at D&A Anime Blog wanna give a grandmaster shout out to all the DJs and DJ/Producers out there, who are making and spinning all of the music that we have grown so fond of. Whether you’re an EDM hit-maker or a Top 40 master mixer, you’re the reason why the music we listen to has brought us closer together as a people and as a whole. (Of course as the Founder of D&A, my time as an aspiring DJ/Producer is coming very soon!)

So to all the Bassnectars, the Aviciis, the Grandmaster Flashes, and the Skrillexes of the world, we say thank you! Thank you for keeping us on the dancefloor, and keeping the heartbeat of music alive and kickin’! HAPPY DJ APPRECIATION DAY!! 🙂

The 80’s Marching In On Throwback Thursday! (Plus Updates!!)

Long time no see, right? This is our first Throwback Thursday since our return from Animore last week, so with that in mind we’ve got some updates for ya! After tonight our 80’s and 90’s Anime of the Week editions for our Throwback Thursday segments, will only have two anime title reviews instead of three, in order to keep the nostalgia going and lasting just a lil’ bit longer. We’re also still constructing our Toonami legacy drop down menu, so we’ll continue to keep you posted on its latest developments.

From February 6th through February 18th of 2017, we’ll be taking a two week hiatus from the blog/site to work on our upcoming fanfiction; Hyakka Ryoran: Samurai S. Until then we’ll continue our regularly scheduled program, which is and will always remain, in progress! 😉
