Kumoricon 2017: October 27-29, 2017

If you live in the Northwest region of the U.S. west coast, chances are you’re not too far from this anime convention. (If you live in Oregon, that’s even better!) Kumoricon is the place to be if you’re looking for a fun three day weekend filled with anime screenings, cosplay contests, Q&A panels with voice actors, and so much more! There might even be some Pre-Halloween fun if you’re lucky! 😉

Anime Banzai 2017: October 20-22, 2017

Heading out west near Salt Lake City? Are you on the lookout for some anime conventions happening in the vicinity? Then look no further than Anime Banzai of Layton, Utah! You’ll be in for three days of otaku fun, cosplay, anime, Q&A’s, panels, and so much more! Don’t be a ‘Squidward’ and miss out on an opportunity to escape reality for a weekend, buy that plane ticket and fly your butt down to Anime Banzai for an awesome Pre-Halloween party!

Aki Con 2017: October 20-22, 2017

Seattle, are you guys ready for a three day party filled with cosplay, VA’s, and all of your otaku pals? Then make your way to the DoubleTree Hotel for an awesome con called Aki Con! This year will be it’s 10th anniversary, and what better way to celebrate it than invite Josh Martin (Majin Buu – DBZ), Chris Rager (Hercule – DBZ), and Brian Beacock (Monokuma – Danganronpa 1 & 2) to the party! CrunchyRoll Expo 2017: August 25-27, 2017

If you don’t who CrunchyRoll is, they’re the largest anime streaming company in the world, so much so that they have their own anime convention founded and dedicated to them. (FUNimation, it’s your turn! XP) Make your way to Santa Carla, CA for a three day expo filled with panels, exhibits, voice actor Q&A’s, and so much more! So whether you’re a hardcore anime fan or maybe you’re just getting your feet wet in it for the first time, this is one anime convention you (or your friends) do not wanna miss! 😉

KuroNekoCon 2017: July 29-30, 2017

Although this anime convention is the first and only con in Washington State, it is by far the best one in Spokane, WA! Get ready for three days filled with cosplay, Q&A, anime, manga and gaming, all wrapped up into one awesome otaku-filled weekend! If you happen to live in the Washington State area (such as Seattle or anywhere nearby), then you’re gonna wanna check out this anime convention for yourself! Don’t forget to bring your friends! 😉

San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival 2017: July 15, 2017

Looking for a place where Senpai will notice you? Well then your answer lies at the San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival located in where else, but San Francisco! Walk and shop inside the Japantown Malls while enjoying a great day filled with cosplay and all things kawaii. Take pictures with awesome cosplayers and have the time of your life as you enjoy the anime fan serenity of this one day convention! 🙂

Anime PDX 2017: July 21-23, 2017

This anime convention used to be a one day fan fest, now it’s become a three day otaku boogaloo for all fans to enjoy! If you’re heading out towards the westbound region of the U.S. then this is an awesome con to check out! You’ll be in for three days of Q&A voice actor panels, cosplay and video games, and a great time for you and your senpai (if you get them to notice you). The fun doesn’t stop just because ‘Back to School’ is around the corner, so head out to Portland, OR for an awesome good time at Anime PDX! 🙂

Sausomecon 2017: June 30 – July 2, 2017 (Actual Date)

Don’t worry about the previous dates for this con, the actual ones are June 30th through July 2nd of this year. If you’re looking for a con where you can get your Pre-Fourth of July party on, then you’re gonna wanna make your way down to the KCI Expo Center for Sausomecon 2017! Voice actors like R. Bruce Elliott and Wendy Powell will be there, plus some other fun and exciting things like gaming tournaments, fan panels, and more! Kansas City is home to more than just the Chiefs, it’s got a otaku lifestyle side too. 🙂

Anime Festival Wichita 2017: June 23-25, 2017

If you’re on the hunt for an awesome anime convention, then your answer is going to be in the Mid-Westbound state of Kansas! (Wichita, Kansas that is!) OMG!Con 2017: June 9-11, 2017

Heading out west this weekend? Do you love cosplaying, anime, manga, and voice actors? Then make your way to Owensboro, Kentucky for a three day convention known as OMG!Con. There’s all sorts of fun to be had at this con; such as Q&A panels, tabletop gaming, video gaming, cosplay, and everything that will make an otaku weep tears of joy! FanimeCon 2017: May 26-29, 2017

Anime Expo isn’t the only largest anime convention in California. When it comes to anime cons FanimeCon in San Jose is not too far behind. If you’re looking for a place where you can geek out with your friends for Memorial Day weekend, then grab a plane ticket and make your way to San Jose. There will be some awesome Q&A panels, video game tournaments, voice actors, music, cosplay, and so much more! That’s right guys, the west coast edition of the largest east coast anime con is back for another year! Get ready for a kick ass time with your friends as you dance the night away at the rave, head to some Q&A panels, some workshops, and take tons of cosplay pictures! Kumoricon 2016: October 28-30, 2016

Go west for the best anime convention that Portland has to offer; Kumoricon 2016! You’ll be surrounded by many of your otaku/geek friends who love anime and Japanese culture as much as you do. Voice Actors such as D.C. Douglass and Sonny Strait will be at this con, as well as many other exciting events including workshops, dances, and other fun panels! AnimeIowa 2016: July 29-31, 2016

Live in Iowa? Wanna find a place where you can geek out with your friends n’ talk about anime, manga, and voice actors? Look no further than Anime Iowa; where all that and so much more is goin’ down July 29-31! Legendary voice actor Steve Blum will enter this con long with the likes of Kyle Herbert, and (DJ) Greg Ayres! With a vast variety of panels, workshops, cosplay events, and Q&As it’ll be a full-blown geekdom for anime fans worldwide! So if you’re in Coralville or live near it, come on out to Anime Iowa and have some fun! 🙂


Anime Expo 2016: July 1-4, 2016

This legendary anime convention is known from the West Coast to the East, and everywhere in between! Four days of fun with anime fans from everywhere; from Dever, to Seattle! Panels, Q&A’s, Battle of the Bands, DJs and dance parties, and everything else you’d see at a con such as this. Famous faces grace this place, but you’ll have to get there to find out who they are. Anime Oasis SP 2016: May 27-30, 2016

Time to take a trip out west to Boise, ID for a three day convention that will send May out with a Big Bang (Attack). (Sorry, couldn’t resist. *chuckles*) At Anime Oasis you’ll find yourself on a three day venture filled with games, panels, and tons of other excitement! Maile Flanagan, Sonny Strait, and Johnny Y. Bosch are only a few of the Voice Actors that will grace this con with their presence, so if you live in Boise, Idaho or somewhere near the area, be sure to check out Anime Oasis SP! Bellingham Anime Convention (BA-CON): May 14, 2016

Time to head out West for another anime con we found just for you! Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, WA is hosting the Bellingham Anime Convention (or BA-CON), and we’re sure it’s gonna be a lot of fun. (But we’ll let you be the judge of that.) Expect games, cosplay, panels, special guests, and more! If you and your friends happen to live in Bellingham or just 10-20 miles from it, check out BA-CON and see what all the buzz is about.
