Filler Post: D&A’s Top 5 Anime Titles That circle around Friendship!

Who’s always been there for you when times got tough? Who’s always had your back when haters tried to get one up on you? Well guys, this filler post is all about the power of friendship. Friends are the family that you choose, and sometimes we find ourselves treating our friends better than we treat our own relatives. (Nobody’s perfect but they’re still your family.) Friends come in all ages, shapes and sizes, but no matter how hectic your day or life has been for you, you can always count on great friends to help you in your time of need!

Number 5: Amanchu!

This beautiful Slice of Life anime title is about a 15-year-old girl named Hikari Kohinata, who meets Futaba Ooki and encourages her to join their school’s Diving Club. They soon become the best of friends as they enjoy their diving experiences together. Diving’s okay on your own, but when you’ve got a buddy that loves the water as much as you do, that heightens the overall experience of actually doing it!

Number 4: Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

Friendships are almost like people in the metaphorical sense of the word; meaning that they grow and mature the same way that we do. This series deals with the death of a childhood friend, causing the other friends to drift apart when they were younger due to the loss of their friend. As they got older they rekindle their friendship while trying to help one another move on after the death of one of their beloved friends. Life can be tough whenever a close friend of yours dies, but it’s always great to have other friends you can call on to help you get through it.

Number 3: The Pet Girl of Sakurasou

Sometimes in life we get thrown into unexpected circumstances that cause us to gain friendships on accident. (Although sometimes we just know that God works in mysterious ways.) This anime title shows us that point exactly! Sorata Kanda gets himself kicked out of the Suiko University school dormitory, and is sent to the Sakura Dormitory. A world famous artist named Mashiro Shiina moves into the dorm room that Sorata’s in, and is then forced to be her handler. Unexpected friendships can happen without notice, but the take away is the fact that your mental growth increases during the process.

Number 2: Nichijou (My Ordinary Life)

It’s never fun to get into any hijinks by yourself, that’s why you have friends so that when you do get into em’, it makes the thought and feeling of doing it that much more fun! Going through daily life can have its ups and downs, triumphs and failures, highs and lows. One thing’s for sure however; you’re not alone in this crazy emotional roller-coaster ride we humans call life. If you don’t believe us ask the cast of Nichijou, cuz their daily lives are just as crazy as ours! XP

And Number 1: Pokemon

20 years ago we were given a series-turned-franchise about the most unbreakable bond between a boy and his best friend. We know all the lyrics to the first season of this series, as we’ve watched him grow into one of the most well-versed pokemon trainers he is today. Ash Ketchum and Pikachu are literally the epitome of what true friendship really is. No matter how many of their other friends come and go these two are an inseparable pair. Many of us grew up with these bosom buddies during the 90’s era of anime, so there’s no doubt that we can learn a lot about the power of friendship and teamwork from these two.

Well guys, that’ll do it for this awesome filler post about friendship. Remember, if you ever find yourself feeling alone, just know that you’ve got friends that you can call on! (If you don’t, don’t worry! We’ll be your friends! ^.^)

Although he travels to many places and studies their ways and existence, he stresses to others that the Mushi are not evil, but aids the ones who are suffering from various problems that are caused by these ubiquitous creatures.

If you’re looking for something that you can really sink your sweet tooth into, then the answer to that lies at a confectionery shop in Japan! Many other regions also have their own version of this confectionery treat which was also the name of a medicine during the Muromachi Period (1336-1573).
