The Last D&A Friday’s of March!!
Yep, it’s the final day of the third month of the 2017 year, and of course it’s going out with a bang! If you’re a fan of Ghost in the Shell, well we’re here to tell you that the wait is officially over! Now playing in theaters is the live action version of an old classic anime title featuring Scarlett Joe Hanson, so be sure to check it out with your friends when you get the chance. As for what’s we’ve got in store for our final D&A Friday’s of March, we’ve got some great anime and manga title for you to check out! Looking for an action-packed harem anime title that reminds you of Absolute Duo and Date-A-Live? Then you’re gonna love Asterisk War! If you love to style hair the same way the Japanese do, then check out this little manga title called Beauty Pop!

Monday Night Anime Titles & Blog Updates!!
With the cold-now-warm month of March about to march its way out of our 2017 lives (no pun intended), we turn our eyes to April; where our anime convention tour is up and running again, and we’ve got some awesome new updates coming to the blog! As for tonight’s Miscellany Monday, set your sights on some lesser known anime titles that we’ve been combing the internet for, and also check out some of our past picks of Japanese snacks if you haven’t gotten the chance to already!
If you’re looking for an anime title about the experiences of campus life one might face while living in Kyoto, Japan, then you might wanna check out this anime title called The Tatami Galaxy! Also, we’ve just uploaded a new update video on our youtube page, so be sure to check it out if you want to see where we’re heading for the month of April (and possibly beyond)! Just Another Slash Saturday Night…
We’re pretty sure you’ve all been through this before, but it’s Saturday night so let’s get at it again! After 20 years Toonami has served us old school and new school fans quite well, and they’ve even brought back an old classic…Samurai Jack! (Even though it’s going to be his last time. T.T) As for us right here on D&A, we’ve got some great samurai anime titles for you to swing your blade at, and get pumped up for some chanbara action! Speaking of which; if you’re looking for said action that you can only find in a samurai action anime title, then check out this series known as Shigurui! (It’s 18+ though so be careful.) Looking to see who’s in our lineup of great male and female samurai characters in our Hall of Fame? Then check out our Samurai Hall of Fame’s Edo Warriors and Sengoku Ladies pages underneath our drop down menu!

No, not one bit! If you’re an anime otaku, it’s never wrong to watch anime and read manga on any day of the week! (That includes holidays too!) On that note, we welcome you to another fantastic Friday night of anime and manga titles on D&A Anime Blog! Have you ever wondered if it was wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon? Samurai Jack…Is BACK!!!
Tonight is the night!! After a thirteen year hiatus the legendary samurai returns home to Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. during the early 2000’s Samurai Jack was one of the most popular shows on CN, and now it has returned home for its 5th and final season. For our Slash Saturday segment we’ve not only inducted Samurai Jack as our Hall of Fame inductee, but we’ve given him a slot in our Samurai Anime of the Week as our first Non-Anime title. We could go on all night about this Cartoon Network original, but we think it’ll be better if you just see it for yourself! ๐
D&A Fridays: Where Fridays are a Part of You!!
Ever since we started this little segment, we’ve been getting a lot of love from our fans as well as recommendations for anime and manga titles (both old and new) for us to give you a brief rundown on. For that we say thank you! Friday nights for us have always been exciting on the blog and we have you (the fans) to thank for that. As long as the two of us have limbs on our bodies we’ll continue bringing you guys some of the latest and greatest anime and manga title reviews to check out, and trivia to test your otaku knowledge on!
As we’ve mentioned a thousand times already, Saturday marks the season premiere of Samurai Jack! So to celebrate the upcoming fifth and final season of this Cartoon Network original series, we’re going to have a special Samurai Jack themed Slash Saturday segment! There will be more updates and more excitement coming to the blog soon, so stay tuned for us and keeping making D&A a part of you! ๐
Throwback Thursday: Kickin’ It Old School!
Anime has been around a long time, longer than any of us millennials have even been alive. (Or even born.) So on that note we can just say that there would be no new school anime, without those old school titles! One of those titles is known as one of the first anime superhero titles of the 70’s, and its name is quite familiar to both new and old anime fans. Cons Near U: March Anime Cons 2017!!
January and February have been noticeably warm this 2017 year, but as we make our way towards the first day of Spring, we’re spring into the forefront of the anime convention season. There are some awesome anime cons going on in March and right here at D&A, we’ve got what you’re looking for! On our Cons Near U page we’ve got new anime cons in the following regions; Northeast, Southwest, and Southbound. So if you’re heading in any of those directions this month, you’re in for an awesome time!
