Here we are again! So we’re still on our Anime REvisited pick which we’re pretty sure you know to be Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. So…let’s get onto the review!

In the tenth episode of this crazy series, we’re introduced to a ‘Honey, I Shrunk The Kids’ scenario where Panty and Stocking have been shrunken due to the antics of Scanty and Kneesocks; which is safe to say the battle took place off screen and the angels won. Brief is playing with his tiny girls while Garterbelt diagnosed the problem, and says that the shrinking serum will wear off in an hour – which is about 7 minutes and 28 seconds in real time. The angels end up inside Brief as Garter gives the boy a laxative so that he’ll poop them out. Well, after getting muddy brown, he assumes that he’s flushed Panty and Stocking down the drain (although that’s not the case).

Hilarity ensues while the girls are inside Brief…that is until the serum’s effects start to wear off; making Brief’s stomach bigger as if he’s 8 months pregnant. There was only one thing Garter could do; and that was to deliver the angels through Brief’s uterus – or his anus in this case. Eventually Garterbelt manages to pull Panty and Stocking out of Brief’s rectum, and a long shower later, they were back to being their selves – their sex-loving sweets-eating selves. The second half of the episode appears to start off with the opening scene to the second half of episode 3; where Panty and Stocking head off to fight the power plant ghost, while Chuck goes unconscious due to being fried. So basically the second half is divided into three parts in a ‘Back to the Future’ kinda way, as Chuck and Fastener go at it.

The third half is basically a music video where Panty and Stocking sing the lyrics to “D City Rock”, as the girls go through various music covers that many music enthusiasts will recognize; such as The Beatles (Abby Road), Gorillaz, ACDC, and more. So yep, this pretty much wraps up the episode, so as always make sure you stay safe and stay united!

Ohayo! Hope you guys are doing great and staying safe. So we’ve got another fantastic episode review for you guys from our Anime REvisited pick; Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt! We’ve finally hit the beach episode, so let’s get started!

The angels hit the beach in this episode as they get the usual ‘hungry eyes’ looks from the guys who worship the ground they walk on. Garterbelt has his own little grill shack as we start to notice a patter between him and another character from South Park. (Yes there’s a HUGE reference in this show – even in the animation.) Brief shows up after picking up all of the meat for the girls, but in reality it’s really for Garterbelt. As Panty asks Brief to rub suntan oil on her body, a familiar red carpet appears as Scanty and Kneesocks once again make their presence known.

They then claim the beach that Panty and Stocking are on and asks them to leave, sadly, this is easier said than done. After multiple verbal insults both the angels and demons settle things with some 2-on-2 volleyball. Somewhere during the match there’s an animation shift to the aforementioned South Park style I was telling you about earlier. Then the game turned into an all-out war with both the angels and demons at a tied up score of 20-20; where the losing team has to get naked in front of the beach goers. Scanty and Kneesocks lose the match and now have to get naked – as if! They both pull out bottles of black liquid that creates ghosts as Scanty shoots the bottles causing the liquid to fall into the ocean. Suddenly all kinds of ghost sea creatures come onto the beach; from a ghost dolphin, to a ghost hammerhead, to even a ghost sea urchin.

While Panty and Stocking battle the ghosts; the demons make their escape, but not before shooting themselves in the foot (via Scanty), by activating the self-destruct button. Garterbelt made all the money he wanted, but not before getting crushed by a sperm whale ghost. The second half is a Stocking episode where she and Panty are looking for men to screw. Suddenly the gothic angel spots someone; who just happens to be a foul-mouthed ghost, causing her sister to gag like hell. Stocking tells Panty that she’s dating said ghost even though she’s majorly opposed to this relationship. Although the ghost kinda treats Stocking like crap at first, the two go on more dates and he starts to open up – much to Panty’s dismay.

Rumors start going around about Stocking’s relationship with the ghost as Panty got tired of it. Elsewhere Stocking tells her ghostly lover that she’s an angel; whose sole purpose is to kill ghosts like him, but she says she’s willing to give all of that up (and possibly a chance at going back to heaven or being an angel) just to be with him. Later on that evening she leaves the church as Panty decides to put a stop to this once and for all. Panty (disguised as Stocking) finds the ghost and points her gun to his head; telling him that he and Stocking are breaking up. However the real Stocking shows up and rips into her sister; telling her that she doesn’t know anything about love, but Panty fires back and tells Stocking nether does the ghost – but the ghost actually does love Stocking. He pulls out an engagement ring and asks Stocking to marry him while Panty hurls in disgust.

Garterbelt shows up to hold Panty down as the ghost places the ring on Stocking’s finger, but after doing so, it caused him to be cleansed as he tells her that she made him want to be a better man. After disappearing Garterbelt picks up the heaven coin and explains to the girls that there are ghosts who spend their entire lives without the love of another person. It just so happens that this ghost was one of them – a bachelor. While in her room Stocking hears Panty telling her that it’s time for them to kill some ghosts, and that she’ll even let her bang a few. The gothic angel mutters something along the lines of how much she hates her sister sometimes as she leaves to do another assignment. She kept the ring the ghost gave her as its hanging from the mouth of one of her stuffed animals on the shelf.

In a series as crazy as this there has to be at least one tender moment of true love, and it just so happens that Stocking was the best candidate. Compared to her sister she’s actually the most ‘likable’ and ‘least’ shallow in terms of what true love really means. It’s kinda cool Stocking got this moment to experience what true love really is and that like she said; has no restrictions. There’s a lot of us out there still looking, but I’m optimistic that there’s someone for everyone; and that we’ll find that significant other we’ve been searching for.

Here we go again! It’s high time for another episode review from our Anime REvisited pick; Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt! So this particular episode has multiple references from classic 90’s cartoons as well as iconic movies, and we’re here to break em’ all down for ya!

Kicking off the first half of the eighth episode; we find Panty, Stocking, and Garterbelt in a brand new town called Romeo & Caperna town located somewhere east or west of Daten City. The two of them became honorary police chiefs for the day, only to be barricaded inside a building along with a few other bystanders; where hordes of zombie ghosts have surrounded them from the outside. (Yep, this is a Walking Dead episode.) Garterbelt tells the angels that the only way to kill them is to smash their brains due to the fact their angelic weapons have no effect. Eventually the girls along with the other remaining bystanders (because most of em’ are zombies now) manage to make it across the street to a gun store – but thanks to Panty’s dumbass habit they ended up in a sex shop instead.

It’s soon discovered that the zombie ghosts came from an elixir brought by the Demon Sisters. Panty and Stocking figure out that all this was their plan, so they grabbed whatever weapons they could use, and fight their way up to the hill where they were. To do so Garterbelt told them to grab See-Through, pick him and the rest of the bystanders up, and drive through the undead horde to where the Demon Sisters were. They make it to See-Through, but got bitten by a zombified Chuck. Garterbelt continues to fight against the horde alone, as all of the bystanders are now zombies. He then suddenly meets the newly zombified Panty and Stocking; as they retain all of their consciousness and reasoning due to the fact that since their angels, they’re technically already dead. Garter gets eaten by the girls as a zombified Scanty and Kneesocks walk around feeling real stupid as their plan backfired.

The second half of the episode deals with a game show-like trial called “Judgment Day”. Panty and Stocking are on trial for the death of a ghost named Mr. Petter; who resembles Ren from Ren & Stimpy, with the wife resembling Stimpy. The angels are given a choice by a prosecutor named Tom Croose (that’s two references already) on what lawyer they want to represent them, so they picked number three, and it ended up being a monkey in a suit. Between Panty’s pole dancing on national television, Stocking making a Dead Leaves reference (also created/directed by the series creator/director), and the monkey suddenly turning into Ace Attorney, the game show trial takes a crazy turn for the worst – if you could even call it that. Like the last half of the episode, the Demon Sisters are involved whole heartedly; as the angels somehow uncovered their plan and foiled it thanks to the Ace Attorney monkey. Now that just leaves the Stimpy-looking ghost, so Panty and Stocking did what they do best and killed it.

So how many references were there? I counted seven total in this episode; two in the first half, and five in the second half. That will do it for this episode review, and from us to you; stay safe, stay united against the troubles of this world, and stay nerdy! 😉

Alright guys n’ gals! It’s high time for another installment of Anime REvisited with our title pick; Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Now that the Demon sisters have been brought into the mix, I wonder how the rest of the series will go. Guess we’ll have to find out in this next episode review!

Awhile back I had the opportunity to watch the first installment of a franchise that I loved as a child, and kinda hated as an adult. I’ve got nothing but love for Michael Bay, but every sequel that came after the first Transformers was kinda…garbage. So the good ol’ folks at Gainax decided to do what we’ve been doing; poking fun at the franchise. Panty and Stocking meet Cocktimus Prime and Metatron while fighting and bickering with one another – as usual. Because they both ate the cores of the respected robots; Panty became Rotten Ass Panty, and Stocking turned into Gothatron Stocking.

The two robo angels fought against each other in a cliché Tranformers fashion; with Panty being an Autobot, and Stocking being a Decepticon. After all the robo madness they discover that the original robots were actually ghosts in disguise, so the angels transformed back into their original angelic forms to take on the robo ghosts, as their armies they had while in robo form transformed back into what they once were. They did get a whole lot of coins for killing the ghosts, however their value was worthless as heaven currency; leaving them to going back to bickering with each other once more.

The second half of the episode deals with Garterbelt complaining about Panty and Stocking’s spending habits and wants the two of them to get a job and raise $3 million dollars. He makes a bet with them that if they raise the money in three days he won’t complain about their habits again, but should they lose they have to be on a strict budget for as long as they’re in Daten City. The angels do indeed get a job – well jobs that they really suck at due to them getting fired from every last one.

Eventually they find themselves at a gambling casino (having no idea it’s ran by the Demon sisters who still are bitter about their ghost plant exploding) and using their luck they were able to make the acquired $3 million they needed to shut Garter up. However things took a turn as they made their way to the V.I.P. Roulette table with a poorly disguised Kneesocks as the dealer; who used her power to cause the angels to lose each time. However they had other ideas, as the angels sold their outfits and accessories until they were down to their bras and panties.

Just when Kneesocks thought she had the angels right where she wanted them, Panty sneezed as a big web of snot went across the table – and as a blessing in disguise helped the angels win all of their money back plus more! As if their night couldn’t get any better they got the chance to kill a ghost and earn heavens as well; leaving the Demon sisters to take off unnoticed and work out another plan to get back at the angels. They gave Garterbelt the money they made on their deal, though he didn’t trust where they got it.

All right! Things are starting to get a little bit interesting this time around, as we kick off another episodic review of Anime REvisited; with Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt! It appears that the other five episodes may or may not have led to this moment, so without further delay, here’s what went down in episode six!

Sometime after the events of episode five, Panty and Stocking are back at the school where they became the school queens after Barbie’s demise. While there they encounter a slew of ghost droids while they spend half the night eradicating them; including one annoying little female ghost. The next day the angels see their ‘fans’ all dressed up in school uniforms and wondered what the hell they were even wearing. Then Brief shows up to explain to the girls that the mayor’s daughters called the Demon (or Daemon) Sisters are now the head queens in charge of the school, and expect everyone (including them) to follow their ‘Rules’! Upon seeing this I thought that this was a pretty interesting dynamic; because usually the demons are the ones who cause chaos and anarchy while the angels uphold everything that is good, but in this case it’s the other way around.

Not even five minutes into the episode and Panty and Stocking absolutely HATE them – and rightfully so! From their dictatorship-style rules to their classism mindset, the angels eventually see themselves going head to head later on in the episode. Surely enough they do; thanks to Brief discovering a ghost factory beneath the school where they see the same ghost droids they killed actually being made. Panty and Stocking encounter Scanty and Kneesocks, the Demon Sisters, as they were the ones behind the ghost droids they killed earlier in the episode. After the usual stripper pole transformation from the angels, the demons did their own version of it; as both sides had their weapons ready for one hell of a catfight.

The school turned into a warzone, as the Anarchy Sisters and Demon Sisters went at each other with poor Brief caught in the middle. Once enough collateral damage was caused throughout the school, Brief found himself safe and sound on the rooftop – or so he thought. Scanty and Kneesocks found and threaten to kill him unless he gave back the stone, but Panty and Stocking show up and tell the demons that they really didn’t care if they kill him or not. Scanty fires off multiple rounds from her gun which Stocking blocks as the bullets destroy the demon’s weapons in a Matrix-style maneuver.

Panty tells Brief to toss the stone as she shoots it down with her weapon, thus causing the factory below to explode – taking about 95% of the school with it. Scanty and Kneesocks get away and threatened to return, leaving the angels and Brief along with the poor souls who somehow survived, in what was left of the school. At the end of the episode the Demon Sisters report back to the mayor of the city (who is a demon as well), and is disappointed by what they told him about the angels and how they lost to them. As punishment he drops them into a pool of sweat that is rather sickening to them, while the mayor talks about his run in with Garterbelt – which may or may not be an important plot piece later.

So it appears that we’re finally getting a little bit of plot from this series, but then again it could only be a ‘one-and-done’ thing, and we return right back to our original formula from the last five episodes. Guess what guys? It’s time for another episodic review via Anime REvisited with Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt! If you thought the first few episodes were crazy before, then you ain’t seen nothin’ yet! I’m letting you know right now; if you plan on eating any food or snacks while reading this review, put them down and step away from the kitchen table. You will thank me later.

The first episode was about poop, the second had to do with bees, the third dealt with sibling rivalry, the fourth focused on weight loss and running while damn-near naked. So it’s no surprise that the fifth episode deals with…boogers. Yes, you heard exactly what I said; BOOGERS! With pollen season happening don’t think without a second that most of us pick our nose; in fact we do it about 5-10 times a day (most of the time unknowingly on purpose). Panty and Stocking of course find themselves on yet another ghost raid, while the eldest angel got her finger up her nose digging for gold. Eventually the two meet a soon-to-be-ghost named Oscar H. Genius who is the owner of whatever his profession is, as they found themselves on his blimp while enjoying his event along with all of the others who attended – including Brief.

After a rather visually disturbing nose-sex session between Panty and Oscar, he suddenly realized that he’s allergic to angel boogers – which turn him into a ghost. With everybody picking at the same time (while having nosebleeds) Oscar turns into a giant ghost-like rocket hurdling towards the moon. Panty and Stocking try to stop themselves from picking their noses and further cause anymore collateral damage, but thanks to Garterbelt and Brief they discover that angel boogers are Oscar’s weakness (as we said before). Panty and Stocking use their greatest weapon; Panty’s big ass ball of boogers, to stop Oscar from slamming into the moon – which somehow works as the blonde angel destroys him from the inside. While Panty uses her panties as a parachute, Stocking is seen shooting across the sky into the nasal cavity of the moon; causing the moon to sneeze in the process as the poor goth angel is hanging by the nasal mucus of the moon – a funny yet stomach-churning experience for anyone.

The second half tells a story about a man trying to get a gift for his daughter in a city not far from Daten City called Little Tokyo. Though there’s a more traditional anime style that takes place, Panty and Stocking do show up at the end of the episode and take out a ghost created by the vomit of the people it’s infected. Plus they helped the man out by giving him an autograph of them to give to his daughter.

You never really know what to expect from a show like this until you actually watch it, and once you do, get ready for a wild ride. Welcome back guys! It’s time for another round of Anime REvisited featuring our title pick; Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Three 2-part episodes in, and already this show has one of the craziest, WTF-filled moments I’ve ever witnessed in an anime title – although another show called Shimoneta might come pretty close (and possibly might be worse than this).

Episode 4 brings us to a moment where we all want to try and slim down in order to get ready for swimsuit season. In the case of Daten City, the first half of this episode revolves around Stocking and her love for sweets. There’s one problem however; normally due to the fact that she’s immortal (because she’s an angel) she doesn’t suffer the same human things like sickness, diseases, or obesity, but in this case the sweets that she eats from a new bakery called Angel House causes her to gain weight. So like the rest of us she goes overkill with the workout routines and a Rocky montage or two, however even that didn’t help. Pretty soon Stocking grows to the size of (in Panty’s words) trashy-talk show fat, as Garterbelt makes an announcement that another ghost has arrived. With that Panty and her King Kong-sized sister make their way to a factory where a large bakery ghost was hiding.

After an exchange of hilarious obscenities Panty put an end to the ghost’s afterlife, and snatched four heaven coins in the process. Afterwards Stocking was finally back to her fine gothic self; eating all of the sweets she loves and adores. The second half of the episode takes place during a lingerie run; where guys and girls strip down to their underwear and run a 5k race for the hell of it! Panty and Stocking join the party, but their fun was interrupted by the arrival of another ghost who looks like a knockoff Reverse Flash. Panty and Stocking try and defeat the ghost like they would any other, but due to their sheer laziness (on Panty’s part) their weapons weren’t properly prepped and were completely useless against the speedster ghost. After eating their namesake the ghost dashes off after Brief who looks to be the only one in the race, as the angels aggressively tail him.

Brief does become of use to the angels as Panty snags his undies off himself, and transforms them into an impressive shot gun; meaning that the effectiveness of the briefs that Panty chooses varies depending on the owner’s love maker – and Brief’s was a sight to behold! Panty finally ends the ghost’s afterlife via gunshot to the head, as she collects two heaven coins before hitting Brief with two more shots that bounced off his head causing him to pass out. With everyone naked except Garterbelt, he makes a speech about loving your own skin or something to that effect while Panty and Stocking ditch him and head back home. (Of course Garter gets arrested afterwards for causing a nudical ruckus.)

Horrible diets and birthday suits are the name of the game for this episode, and thus will conclude our review. Until next post continue to stay safe out there during this unconventional Memorial Day.

Hey guys! We’re back with another episodic review from our Anime REvisited pick; Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. When I first heard about the series, it was at an anime convention back in Baltimore that you may know as Otakon – in 2012 when it was still in Baltimore. Right away as soon as I heard the title, my first initial thought was ‘there are only two women I know, who are probably going to be in this series’. Boy was I right. Jamie Marchi and Monica Rial killed it! Shout out to the baddest VA duo in the business!

We all have siblings and nine times outta ten; we have moments where we fight. My brother and I are the same way, and in this episode we see it first hand with the Anarchy sisters. Stocking gets pissed off because she can’t find her special pudding; which she states has a 500 year waiting list. (Hold up, just how old are these girls anyway?!) Panty lies and says she hasn’t seen it, to which Stocking doesn’t believe her, and discovers that her sister ate it even though she hates sweets. An argument ensues about touch one’s property without asking, before Garterbelt and Brief walk in. Garter tells the girls there another ghost afoot, but Panty and Stocking tell him that they’re not going anywhere. The two argue again as Stocking takes off to go handle the situation herself.

Things seem to go well (sort of), until Stocking came face to face with the ghost herself; a Little Red Riding Hood-type ghost who’s associated with the Big Bad Wolf. Nursery rhymes aside the gothic angel found herself trapped via the ‘rope’ that the ghost duo used to tie her up with – which actually turned her on. (I knew there was a freak in there somewhere.) Before things got any kinkier or deadlier (depending how you look at it) Panty swoops in to give the ghost duo a piece of her blue steel; with Brief in tow.

Throughout the whole fight Panty and Stocking continued to bicker with each other, and even swung on each other in the process; thus causing them to get smacked around by the ghost duo before getting defeated by them. This didn’t fly with them; as the ghost duo awoken their ‘Berserk Bitch’ mode, causing Panty and Stocking to wail so hard on them before they blew up. Afterwards the girls made up with Panty getting Stocking the pudding she wanted, even though it was the “Hot” kind. As for Brief and Garterbelt…you’ll have to watch to find out.

The second half of this episode deals with something men have that women don’t. I will not be going into detail on the subject matter; you will have to watch for yourself. Let’s just say you were conceived through a process that we as humans are all too familiar with, and the ‘stuff’ needed to make it happen. If you still don’t know, ask your parents – cuz’ how do you think you got here?
