With our Six Month Anniversary less than a few days away, we’ve got some big plans for the blog for the rest of the month into August! For Otakon’s final year in Baltimore, we’ll be creating a Cosplay Music Video with a hot new original track produced by Yours Truly (aka DJ Blackkjackk Trance), entitled “It’s Otakon”; the remake of the original track that was also previously produced by Yours Truly.
Secondly, we’re debuting D&A Throwback Thursdays next Thursday night @ 11pm. It’ll feature anime titles/reviews from the 80’s and 90’s, as it’ll bring back so many nostalgic moments for many old school anime fans! So many awesome things are yet to come in this second half of 2016, so be sure to check the site for updates and more youtube postings yet to come! ๐

We’ve just installed out Twitter plugin on the blog/site’s sidebar, so now it’ll make things way more easier to “Follow” us! Now with both our Facebook and Twitter timelines, posts, and tweets all on the same site, you’ll never have to worry about clicking off D&A just to see what’s goin’ on in our feeds! Everything you need is all right here! ๐

D&A Founders are also DJ/Producers?
Aspiring, yes! The founders of D&A Anime Blog (D.J. Lewis and A. Goldman) are now taking over the soundtrack side of this amazing blog/site as their DJ/producer aliases; Bassmixxerr and Arrotronixx! There will also be a name/song change(s) for our EP title, as we’ll continue to keep you updated on this new and exciting development!

If you haven’t seen it already, we’ve posted the track list for our EPs; Anime Bassline, and Otaku Frequency! We’ll keep you updated of when their release date will be for our D&A Jukebox.
D&A EPs Update!!
Although the release date is still TBA, we have some new updates about our official EPs for the blog! The title names for both of them has changed, and are now known as; “Anime Bassline”, and “Otaku Frequency”. Both EPs will have 6 tracks total, and will consist of popular EDM genres like Dubstep, Drum n’ Bass, Breakbeat, and Trapstep. The new track list will be posted on our twitter page @daanimeblog2016.
D&A Fridays has Arrived!!
We’ve switched out both Anime Lowdown and Manga Lowdown pages to give you a brand new drop down, that combines the elements of both! D&A Fridays takes Anime of the Week, Anime of the Month, Anime Trivia, Manga of the Month, and Manga Trivia, and fuses them together to give you your ultimate otaku lowdown! We’ll debut this new drop down menu on June 10, 2016 @ 8pm, so be sure to check it out when it arrives! ๐

To keep our relationship with our favorite anime companies and yours, we had to cancel/delete our Manga of the Month page. Not because we were forced to (if that’s what you’re thinking), because this was a hard decision to make. Later down the road we’ll find another fun page to replace it, but for now, we’ve got Manga of the Week and Manga Trivia!
