Here we are finishing off yet another week of work, life, and anime! We’ve been combing the web for some samurai anime titles that you might know of, but never actually seen. so far we’ve landed some good ones for you to check out, as well as our male and female inductees in our Samurai Hall of Fame! Next week we bring you new anime cons to check out for the remaining month of November and December; plus some updates about our anime convention tour and how you can be a part of it. Girls, Vampires, and Kenji! In Other Words; Welcome to High School!!
That’s right! D&A Fridays has gotten into the school spirit this time around, with some anime and manga titles that you might remember watching/reading in high school! From vampires causing a bloody ruckus on school property to a teenage girl who wants to confess to a boy (but another boy wants to confess to her), we at D&A love looking back at nostalgic moments watching anime in our school years, that made us into the anime-loving otaku that we are today! Saturday we keep our anime trend going; as we take a look at another samurai title, and induct another male and female samurai into our Hall of Fame! D&A, it’s a part of you! ๐
To Spin or Not To Spin! D&A’s Founder Becoming An Anime Convention DJ?
This subject in particular has been on mind of Yours Truly for about three months now. With only a few college classes left dealing with Music Production (both analog and electronic), there’s oh so little time for me to make a decision. I have confirmed that there will be music tracks coming to the blog under our Groundz Playlist in Spring of 2018, but a part of me wonders if my beats will be strong enough to go as far as being booked to play at an anime con. We all know the old saying; “You’ll never know unless you try”, I know! >.< Perhaps I may be overreacting about this. Although none of my original mixes have been posted anywhere yet, I’ll say this about them; I’ve gotten a whole lot better at mixing and mastering since posting six Panty & Stocking AMVs, with different beats for each one. In case you’re curious here are their names…

Mach 5 is in The House! Throwback Thursday Heads to the 60’s!!
We have just debuted our newest decade to the Throwback Thursday family; the 60’s! Anime was just beginning to break ground back then, as we see how it has blossomed into the epic fandom we as fans have come to know, and love. Another Classic 70’s Thursday!
Keeping the spirit of old school anime titles alive every Thursday night! Throughout the last few months we’ve been covering various and exciting anime titles from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! Sometime between December 2016 and February 2017 we’ll be adding another decade into our Throwback Thursday lineup; the 60’s! We’ll keep you posted on what’s happening with this new development as well as some new anime conventions for November and December! Until then, stay tuned anime fans! ๐
