D&A Friday’s: Anime OVA of the Week Has Arrived!!
It’s finally here!! The newest addition to our D&A Friday’s segment has finally made its official debut tonight! We unfortunately didn’t get the chance to do our weekly Throwback Thursday segment like we had hoped, but we plan to make it up to you guys next week! Our Manga of the Week segment will be taking a backseat for a few weeks while we prepare for more new site updates (as well as build up some popularity with our newest page). It will make its return on the second Friday in June.
We’ve got some exciting news regarding the blog as far as updates are concerned. Coming this summer, we’re going to have a little anime couple’s page that’s going to be apart of Miscellany Monday segment this June. We’re also working on a way to bring you guys the latest and greatest news from us, FUNimation, Crunchyroll, and all the other North American Anime Distribution companies in an upcoming monthly newsletter! There will be more details about that coming soon. We haven’t forgotten about this month’s anime conventions that are happening every weekend, so be sure to check back in before the end of next week! Summer Lovin’, Havin’ a Blast!
We’re pretty sure ya’ll know the rest of the words to that song, however we’ve got something for you that you’ll really have a blast about! When it comes to love and relationships, you tend to forsake the bad habits that you once had when you were single. I know some of us out there in the world are either struggling to find someone, or they’re just looking for love in all the wrong places. That’s why coming this Summer (late June/early July), we at D&A wanna bring you a brand new page that will become a part of our Miscellany Monday drop down called Anime Couples of the Week. It will focus on various couples in anime that you know, and a few that you don’t. One thing’s for sure, we’ll never stop bringing you our best when it comes to the blog! ๐

The Last D&A Friday’s of March!!
Yep, it’s the final day of the third month of the 2017 year, and of course it’s going out with a bang! If you’re a fan of Ghost in the Shell, well we’re here to tell you that the wait is officially over! Now playing in theaters is the live action version of an old classic anime title featuring Scarlett Joe Hanson, so be sure to check it out with your friends when you get the chance. As for what’s we’ve got in store for our final D&A Friday’s of March, we’ve got some great anime and manga title for you to check out! Looking for an action-packed harem anime title that reminds you of Absolute Duo and Date-A-Live? Then you’re gonna love Asterisk War! If you love to style hair the same way the Japanese do, then check out this little manga title called Beauty Pop!

With the cold-now-warm month of March about to march its way out of our 2017 lives (no pun intended), we turn our eyes to April; where our anime convention tour is up and running again, and we’ve got some awesome new updates coming to the blog! Also, we’ve just uploaded a new update video on our youtube page, so be sure to check it out if you want to see where we’re heading for the month of April (and possibly beyond)! Just Another Slash Saturday Night…
We’re pretty sure you’ve all been through this before, but it’s Saturday night so let’s get at it again! After 20 years Toonami has served us old school and new school fans quite well, and they’ve even brought back an old classic…Samurai Jack! (Even though it’s going to be his last time. T.T) As for us right here on D&A, we’ve got some great samurai anime titles for you to swing your blade at, and get pumped up for some chanbara action! Speaking of which; if you’re looking for said action that you can only find in a samurai action anime title, then check out this series known as Shigurui! (It’s 18+ though so be careful.) Looking to see who’s in our lineup of great male and female samurai characters in our Hall of Fame?
